Finca El Morito is a group of small producers founded by Jose Roberto Monterroso. El Morito has over 450 members, and creates some of the best coffee in Jalapa, winning the Cup of Excellence in 2013 and 2014.
Finca El Morito can offer many kinds of coffee lots, from simple SHB EPs to high end microlots. Coffees from El Morito are Catuai, Pache San Ramon, Bourbon and Mundo Novo and grown at 1,400-2,000 meters.
For this lot, we found the coffee to balanced with chocolate and citrus notes with a medium body and a lingering finish.
