Meet Santiago, International Trade Operations Coordinator based in Cali, Colombia.
Santiago brings experience in logistics and supply chain management across international markets, along with a lifelong passion for coffee. He enjoys every stage of the coffee journey, especially discovering and tasting new coffee varieties and specialties from around the world.
Santiago studied in Panama and graduated as a Nautical Engineer and Merchant Officer. During his time working aboard ships, he traveled extensively and gained firsthand experience with global logistics operations across different countries and cultures. One thing he found consistent everywhere he went was coffee’s ability to bring people together.
At StoneX Specialty Coffee, Santiago supports international trade operations with a global perspective shaped by both logistics and travel. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and exploring nature.
