Huehuetenango Xuj Kape Women Produced

Exceptional coffee begins with exceptional producers. This regional lot is sourced from 19 women-owned farms in the communities of Aldea Q'om and Canton El Plan, nestled high in the mountains of Huehuetenango near Guatemala's western border with Mexico. Together, these producers cultivate 26 hectares of coffee, combining generations of farming knowledge with a shared commitment to quality and community.

Huehuetenango is one of Guatemala's most celebrated coffee-growing regions, prized for its high elevations, volcanic soils, and ideal growing conditions. Coffee is cultivated at altitudes reaching 2,100 meters above sea level, where moderate temperatures, consistent rainfall, and slow cherry maturation contribute to the region's vibrant acidity, layered sweetness, and remarkable complexity.

Harvested between January and April, each coffee is carefully processed before making its journey to roasters around the world.
