La Lia is a Pioneer micro mill in San Lorenzo de Tarrazu, Los Santos Region since 2008.
Started by brothers Don Luis and Oscar Adolfo Monge and its name was given to honor their mother doña Lia.
Both Luis and Oscar Adolfo, are hard-working brothers that manage their various farms: Piesan sits at 2000 masl, San Pedro, San Lorenzo, Santa Rosa at 1800 masl, and Santa Rosa at 1900 masl, now Don Luis´s son Felipe is helping them at the mill and cupping at Exclusive Lab.
They have been award winners in the Cup Of Excellence as well as in the Exclusive and Exotic Varietal Collection Auction (EEVC). They produce from Classic varietals.
