To ensure a seamless delivery process, please follow these steps before your shipment arrives:
Provide Shipment Details: When requesting a shipment, include key information such as:
- Do you need a liftgate?
- Is a delivery appointment or call-ahead required?
- What is the delivery window?
- Are there any access challenges at the delivery location?
Verify the Bill of Lading (BOL): Double-check the BOL against the requested order to ensure accuracy.
Request PRO Number and Delivery Date: Ask for the PRO number and estimated delivery date once the shipment departs the warehouse.
Inform Your Receiving Team: Share the expected delivery date, time, and bag count with your receiving team ahead of the arrival.
Upon delivery, take the following steps to confirm everything is in order:
- Count the Bags: Verify the number of bags against the BOL and inspect for any damage, such as ripped bags or leaking coffee beans.
If everything is correct, sign the BOL to release the order.
If something seems off:
- Do not sign the BOL until you’ve noted the issue.
- Take clear photos of the damaged pallets, bags, or other discrepancies.
- Work with the delivery driver, the delivery company, and your StoneX sales rep to resolve the issue.
Inspect Each Bag: Before opening any bags, make sure they match the Delivery Order and are in good condition (no stains or off smells).
If anything seems unusual, take pictures and send them to your sales rep for further assistance.
Do not open the bags until it’s confirmed that everything is correct.
A tracking number is provided for shipped orders once your pallet is loaded onto a truck. You will receive an email with the tracking information when it becomes available.
