The story behind Finca El Durazno Honey ML
Finca El Durazno is in Guinope, a small village in the department of El Paraiso, with a population of 15,000 people primarily involved in the cultivation of coffee. Owned by Wilfredo Zavala, the farm and has 15 hectares, 13 of which are cultivated.
The farm sits at 1,600 – 1,650 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 71 degrees, and grows yellow and red catuai. The pickers at Finca El Durazno are taught only to pick the ripe cherries, and they pay particular attention to the processing of their coffees to create an exceptional product.
