Risk Management
Our consultants are experts in commodity price risk management. They work with coffee customers to identify and quantify their price risk. The consultants then help customers select and employ the best tools to manage that risk – including exchange-traded futures and options, cash and forward-market contracts, and customized over-the-counter products.
Position Review
We assist clients with forward contracts based on their specific market conditions and risk management goals. Our service offers fixed pricing on contracts, which helps provide price stability and predictability for long-term planning. While we utilize statistical analysis to inform decisions, we also ensure that forward contracting remains a key strategy for managing price volatility and securing favorable terms.
Financing
StoneX Commodity Solutions LLC (SCS) offers trade finance programs that can provide incremental liquidity to our coffee clients who need working capital to build their business. Via a sale and repurchase transaction of your coffee inventory with SCS, the quantity, price, and tenor of the transaction are defined at the time the sale confirmation is executed.
Import Services
We’ll partner with you to source full containers of coffee from your preferred producer. Our services include price evaluations, logistics support, import assistance, and warehouse storage.
