The Story of Peru Cerro Blanco Gr1 Organic
In the lush, misty hills of Northern Peru, nestled in the San Martin region, lies a small village called La Victoria, home to the Cerro Blanco farmer association. Born from the dreams of 10 families in 2020, Cerro Blanco began as a shared vision – a promise to honor their rich land and protect its natural beauty. Named after a majestic nearby mountain of white sand, Cerro Blanco stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment to sustainable farming and environmental conservation.
Over the past four years, this humble group has blossomed into a thriving community of 211 families, now spanning 15 villages, all bound by a love for coffee and their land. These dedicated producers grow exceptional varieties like Pache, Red Bourbon, and Yellow Typica at altitudes ranging from 1,400 to 1,900 meters above sea level. Each coffee is lovingly home-processed, washed, and fermented on their farms for 72 hours to bring out its complex, vibrant flavors.
Cerro Blanco coffee is more than just a cup—it reflects the heart, heritage, and harmony between the people and their land.
