The Story Behind Nicaragua Nueva Segovia Community Washed SHG
Renowned for its superior coffee production, Nueva Segovia in Nicaragua stands out with its higher altitude, where coffee is grown between 1,250 to 1,750 meters.
Despite being small-scale, with an average of 2.5 hectares, the farmers here grow exceptional Caturra, Catuai, Marseillesa, and Catimor beans. The beans used are carefully selected from various clusters and undergo a rigorous process to ensure optimum quality and sustainability. Our producers prioritize the health of their plants and harvest the ripest cherries, all in the name of creating the finest coffee.
To highlight the distinctive qualities of the region, we meticulously selected a small batch of coffee from Nueva Segovia, boasting a delightful brightness, balanced sweetness with milk chocolate and peach notes, and a luxurious heaviness.
