The goals of the cooperative are to improve yields, increase quality, improve growing conditions, provide access to credit and provide economic stability to the region.
Jinotega is a high-quality coffee producing department within the country benefitting from rich soil and high altitude which are ideal coffee growing conditions
The flavor profile of the coffee produced by the UCC can be best described as medium body, citrusy acidity, roasted almonds, and sweet aftertaste.
